Project Brief
Darwin Green is a large multi-phase site based in Cambridge. With the current phase shared between Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes, a solution was needed to help them demonstrate the site, track live availability and generate off-plan sales.
The key goals were to virtually explore the wider site via the masterplan, go into the current phase 3D siteplan to select homes of interest. Highlighting the available phases & communal areas such as the vast green space in central park, the healthcare centre and the proposed supermarket.
The app immerses you by virtually walking around the finished development via the street view feature. Check out the plots, see the view from the front door and view the plot particulars.
This complex site has been brought to life with the structure and design of the Marmoset app. The grand masterplan showcases the existing live phases (Franklin Gardens and Phase 2), future phases as well as the amenities within the development. Allowing the sales team to easily demonstrate the highlights of the development from the marketing suite.
The app is accessible on a large touchscreen kiosk in the marketing suite ready to be used by the sales team as prospective buyers visit the site. They can also take the app home with them to peruse in their own time by using the share feature in the app. The app can be accessed by the customer as and when they want to from the comfort of their own home.

Get a feel for the development by virtually walking exploring the streets via the street view feature. Drop in outside a plot and take a look around to see the view and surroundings.

Introducing Darwin Green in Cambridge
Cutting out the need for printed brochures, the Darwin Green app is packed full of information about the current site, future phases and the amenities within the development.With built in filters the site plan can be adapted as per your buyers specifications.
As this is such a large site the filter function is essential to narrow down the search.
Interactive masterplan
Using the marketing material provided, we have created an interactive masterplan that navigates the wider site.This provides a platform to expand on key communal areas of the Darwin Green site. View the cycle trails, where the new healthcare centre will be as well as the future phases.
This was also an ideal place to display the video clips supplied.
Immersive streetview
Using the CGI images to their full potential, the street view feature means the sales team can virtually walk prospective buyers around the development.Each plot details page lands on the street view just outside the front door. This means you get a feel for how the completed house and surrounding areas will look.
Capture the local area
Being in the heart of Cambridge, it is important to be able to show the densely populated local amenities and attractions.Using our local area map we have been able to add in key points of interest as well as expand on the travel links from this development.
