Project brief

We worked closely with Mersea Homes to understand their goals and design the ideal UX solution for their Great Tey site. Their aim was to elevate how they presented their development, creating an immersive, interactive experience that complemented traditional brochures and floor plans, while offering buyers a more engaging way to explore their future home.

A key consideration for Mersea Homes was usability in a rural location, where mobile signal and Wi-Fi is non-existent given the early off plan sale. The solution needed to work seamlessly offline, ensuring uninterrupted access to content wherever it was used.

Using Marmoset Lite as the foundation, we developed a bespoke interactive sales app designed specifically for marketing suites and sales environments. Delivered on tablets and other mobile devices, the app can also extend to a dual-screen setup, enabling the sales team to present content seamlessly on a larger display.

One of the most exciting aspects of this project was our collaboration with Effect Marketing. Working closely with their team, we integrated the creative assets into the app, bringing to life some truly imaginative ideas that ensured the finished experience felt perfectly aligned with Mersea Homes’ brand and marketing approach.

We took this further to design a fully custom, brand-led menu system to elevate the user journey from the very first interaction. The intuitive navigation allows seamless movement between the site plan, brochure, plot information, and local area views - all styled to reflect Mersea Homes’ visual identity and deliver a premium, cohesive browsing experience.

A 2D interactive development map lets users explore plots visually, zoom in on individual homes, and view availability and status in real time.

Embedded digital brochure

To keep everything within a single, fluid experience, the full development brochure is built directly into the app. Customers can explore marketing materials, imagery, and key information without ever leaving the platform.

Local area map

An interactive local area map gives buyers a real sense of place, showcasing nearby amenities, transport links, and community highlights to help them picture life within and around the development.

The outcome

As a result we were able to provide Mersea Homes with a modern, engaging sales tool that empowers their sales team to showcase their developments with confidence and consistency. Creating a more immersive experience for buyers and reinforcing the brand’s reputation for quality and innovation.
