Beaulieu Heath by Countryside

The brief

Beaulieu Heath is Countryside’s latest neighbourhood in the north-east edge of Chelmsford. The marketing suite already had a large physical model of the site, and it does a good job of showing the place: the streets, the green space and how it all fits together.

What a model can’t do is answer the next question. Which of these homes can I buy, what’s it like inside, and how much is it? Countryside were selling off-plan, so they wanted a screen beside the model that could answer that, and one their own team could keep up to date.

The site from above

The app opens on the whole of Beaulieu. An interactive masterplan of the area shows the parks, footpaths and cycleways, schools, community facilities, bus routes and the train station, with Beaulieu Heath marked within it. From there, buyers go into Beaulieu Heath to discover development specific detail. A CGI aerial of the homes on sale, every plot marked available, reserved or unreleased. They can turn the site, switch to 2D, filter, and tap any plot for its house type, size and price.

Every home in detail

Find a home shows every house type with its bedrooms, floor area and style, and filters to what’s available. Each home has its floor plans, images and a street view, can be found back on the siteplan or compared with another, and the availability list shows every plot at once. The brochure, gallery, favourites and sharing are one tap away, and a QR code on screen sends buyers the home they’ve been looking at straight to their phone.

The area around it

A local area map covers entertainment, leisure, schools, food and drink, shopping and outdoor spaces, so the conversation about the place carries on from the model to the screen.

One CMS, every screen

The same app runs on the 50-inch wall touchscreen and the sales desk iPad, from one set of plot data. Countryside’s team update prices and availability themselves, so both screens stay right without waiting on us.

We produced the CGI imagery too: the aerial, the house types and the street scenes, dusk versions and plot specific shots where needed.

The outcome

The app went into the Beaulieu Heath marketing suite in June 2026 and has been running since. Countryside manage the plot data in-house, and have come back to us for more imagery as the scheme has moved on. In October, when new sales consultants joined, we went on site to train them on the wall screen and the iPad. It follows our fantastic relationship for Countryside from previous developments such as Westcombe Park and Greenwich Millennium Village.
